40x30cm hole on approach to pedestrian crossing

Reported via iOS in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:19, Friday 27 February 2026

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9010591.

This is the third time to report this hole in 3 months. After the first 2 times the hole is patched in effectively . The patch filling loosens and falls out within 2-3 weeks. Leavibgvthe original hole. A proper repair needs to be undertaken, the area should be cut back, excavated , the underlying problem with the sub base identified and repaired, backfilled before a new surface is laid. Patching by dumping a bucket of asphalt in a hole is ineffective and costly, and a total waste of council tax money with poor quality workmanship and processes .
