Loose paving slab

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:35, Thursday 26 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9005754.

This loose paving slab has previously been reported by me and another. It is very loose when trodden on and if the problem was rectified then not a very good job was done!!

Council ref: ENQ261088539

  • This was photographed on Saturday 7th March. I was the person that partly ended up in the road with my 2 year old son when the pushchair flipped over when I hit this slab on Monday 5th January. I did have an email to say this would be fixed within 28 days, which hasn’t happened. Hopefully no one else will have an accident here!

  • This paving slab is not only loose but now also sunken on one side. This is a fall hazard also for someone elderly or with sight loss which could result in serious injury, hospitalisation and worse. I suggest it is now an urgent issue.
