Excessive parking causing blind spots

Sent to Fareham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 900280.

Since last week there has been an excessive number of parked vehicles including the blocking of bus stops. As this road has a bend which restricts vision it is not only an inconvenience for home owners but a hazard for all road users. Has Fareham College reduced its on site parking spaces?

  • So after 10 years we still have the same problem that no councillors are going to anything about, this junction needs double yellow lines to prevent inconsiderate parking.

  • For the many that have complained about this issue you may like to know that Fareham College was granted planning permission to sell off part of their land provided that they met present and future parking requirements. Speaking to local officials they suggested that students were parking in Longmynd to avoid queuing up to get out of the colleges car park - the fact the college has reduced the car parking places was not entertained.
