Large hole in shared footway on bridge deck

A hole has appeared on the shared use footway that runs alongside the railway line on the bridge across the Derwent. It looks like the top surface of the deck has completely eroded between two timber boards that make up the structure below. The gap looks particularly dangerous for cycles as it is about the same width as a tyre and would no doubt dismount a rider. Many thanks.
