10” pothole with steep and aggressive edge on Shilton Road on the way in to Carterton.

Reported via desktop by Matthew David Lodge at 13:24, Monday 23 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8980730.

This pothole has been there for a significant amount of time and got gradually worse. When raining it fills with water and cannot be seen in the dark. Poor/ no street lighting stops it being seen at night. It is in the near side wheel track position when travelling in to Carterton from the direction of Burford.

Council ref: ENQ261087332
