There is a perennial problem with run-off from the Ginge Road, reported in previous years. The kerb at the marked point must be raised to guide water running down the road past the entrance to these cottages.

At my urging, some years ago, you dug angled ditched into the verge on the road farther uphill. They are now silted up and completely blocked. Hence water, especially during heavy rainfall, runs down the nearside of the road, owing to the camber, and finds a place where the kerb is too low, to spill over down the slope behind these cottages. The result is a morass!
