Drainage blocked by pothole repair
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by Aurelian Koch at 14:24, Sunday 22 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8973828.
The gully on the bottom of Baldon Row has been covered with tarmac by the council workers attempting to fix a pothole next to it. As a result the road is now permanently flooded. It appears that the water (and accumulated silt) was not cleared before repairing the road, which led to covering up the gully and tarmac sitting on a bed of silt.

The permanent flooding now on this corner of the road makes it impossible to see hidden pothole hazards. As well as the filled in drain reported here, the other side of the road is also not draining, and is also permanently flooded with a very uneven road surface below. As this is a single track no through road there is no way to avoid these hazards.
