Blocked drain liable to flood the footpath and nearby properties
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:22, Fri 16 September 2016
Sent to Norfolk County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 897349.
27 - 29 Bridge Street, Downham Market, at 'The Hollies Gateway' wall/sign. Pavement drain gully is choked up with silt and other rubbish, and the whole area is just grotty, so much so that weeds are growing out of of the drain. This is characteristic of the total lack of care and maintenance given to this town centre of which people used to be so proud.
This matter is now in the public domain.

Nothing has been done about this.
Most of the drains around the town are in a similar state now, many with grass growing in them, such is the degree of neglect.
