  • A smaller hole was recently filled in just past this one. Why on earth was this one not fixed at the same time?! It was marked with red for repair months ago.

  • On Monday 27 April 2026 this pothole caused damage to a vehicle. It remains as originally reported on 20 February 2026 — 68 days ago, more than 40 days past Oxfordshire County Council's published 28-day standard repair response time. The pothole's reported width of approximately 600mm is around five times the 120mm width that OCC's own published guidance describes as needing urgent attention. A compensation claim is being submitted under section 41 of the Highways Act 1980.

  • On 7th May my vehicle hit this pothole shattering the wheel causing my vehicle to leave the road and collide with a tree causing injury to me and writing off the vehicle. Why has it not been repaired in the 8 weeks since you actioned it?? I am so angry about this and will be claiming against you. I believe the council failed in its duty under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 to maintain the highway in a safe condition for motorists and failed to take appropriate action after receiving multiple reports of the defect.
