The whole road NEEDS URGENT ATTENTION. Close the road overnight and crack on with it before there is a serious incident

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We are aware of the issues on this road and have identified it as a potential candidate for a future resurfacing scheme.
Due to the road’s proximity to the A45 and surrounding businesses and facilities, carrying out permanent repairs is challenging, as this would require a full road closure. A closure of this nature is complicated further by the weight restriction on the bridge near Cogenhoe. We will continue to ensure the road remains safe by completing permanent repairs where possible. Where permanent repairs cannot be undertaken, we will carry out semi-permanent work and continue to monitor the condition of the roadFor more information about our services, please visit https://www.westnorthants.gov.uk/ parking-roads-and-transport

It has nothing to do with the bridge. You can partly close the road overnight and do one side and then the other another night. It works when you close the A45 each night so why not here. AND the road surface here is far worse than the a45 was

Throwing bits of hot tarmac into holes and not sealing them is not repairing. A toddler could do better. The road is awful
