Drain covering not fit for purpose

Drain cover fitted by council about 15 yrs ago, not fit for purpose, blocks far to easily causing flooding & damaging cars regularly, when the springs come up on the Broad Chalke side during wet winters, the flood becomes so deep it flows over the dual carriageway, which is extremely dangerous with cars hitting the water at high speed, the only way to stop the road re flooding has been to remove the grate, & all the water & debris flows though no problem, proving it is the grate fitted that is causing the problem again & again, not the drain, it needs changing !

    Some one has closed the grate & road flooded again as it is blocked again ! Needs changing
