Recently painted centre road markings worn away already on corner
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 17:19, Wednesday 18 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8949718.
Centre road markings were only recently painted after redressing of the road surface, but have been worn away - as has much of the redressed road surface - possibly due to heavy bus traffic turning the 90 degree corner.

Yes the top dressing which was identified as problematic immediately after it was done is now showing that the repair was inadequate

This 90° turn which is heavily used by all manner of traffic whether that is buses, lorries or cars, has been significantly worn away after redressing of the surface which has become a heavily pitted and uneven surface and all road markings have been worn away, which are important guides for road safety given the size of buses and lorries who navigate this corner and cross the central divide. Much like other areas of Thame high streets, the surface needs removing and redressing with a permanent fix that deserve a much better quality
