There are 18 pot holes on the left hand side of Church Lane as you head to Cogges Farm Museum

Church Lane is now a hazardous route for cyclists on what is a narrow road with cars parked restricting the road width. At night with limited street lighting the potholes present a significant risk to cyclists and walkers. Church Lane is a designated walking and cycle path for local people to get to the town centre while leaving their cars at home. Whilst Church Lane is not a busy thoroughfare for cars it is well used by cyclists and walkers.
