Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 11:40, Wednesday 18 February 2026
Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8946094.
The zebra crossing at this location becomes flooded whenever it rains due to poor drainage. As a result, pedestrians are unable to use the crossing safely and are forced to cross the road at alternative, non-designated dry points, creating a significant safety risk. Please investigate the drainage issues and take appropriate remedial action.

-
The zebra crossing is still flooding during rainfall.
As a result, pedestrians — including parents with pushchairs and young children — are forced to cross away from the marked crossing in order to avoid standing water. This means stepping into live traffic at an unprotected point.
Given that vehicles are exiting a busy roundabout nearby (A316) this creates a serious and foreseeable safety risk.
This is no longer just a drainage inconvenience but a road safety issue. I would appreciate urgent attention.
