Grids all blocked from The Green and past the School

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:27, Tuesday 17 February 2026

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8942430.

Almost every single grid blocked up, is it any wonder we have had a constant stream of water running past the house for so long now. Plagued by Potholes and patch repairs failing within days of being done when you have constant water ingress and a stream flowing over them, United Utilities aware. Sending a road sweeper truck along just pushes more sediment against the gullies causing more blockages. Nearly every grid like those above. Taken 17th Feb 26. Section 41 of the Highways Act.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • 6th April and still blocked up 2 months later. Grids now also blocked up with grass that was just mowed at The Green and twigs and privets from last month's Street Scene workers just using a leaf blower instead of just taking everything they'd cut away with them. Lots of dried grass now along the kerbside in the already blocked road grids, just to add to the problem. Is it any wonder this stretch has so many cracks and pothole patches when the road has deteriorated so much due to regularly having a stream over it due to just leaving these grids blocked up..
