Flooded road and poor signposting

Position: -1.738 51.858 Water covering road approx 25m length in road over a foot deep however Flood sign is in middle of flooded area no opportunity to turn around only reversing away from Flood waterd

    We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.

    Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.

    Every gully or drain the county council is responsible for is cleared at least once each year. Some drains in problem areas are cleared more frequently.
