Overgrown hedge on road verge obscuring vision

A hedge is obscuring the vision of a householder as he leaves his drive. This is related to a previous report 8487695. It has been established that the hedge is lawful however we request that the owner is sent a letter requesting he cut his hedge back to aid vision and to prevent a danger.

  • Investigation: Ongoing - We can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner and is not currently causing any safety issues. We will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
