The road is breaking up around a grid with fist sized lumps of tarmac breaking away. the grid has sunken into a hollow. the drain is also blocked as only light rainfall causes it to fail to take away the road water. the road condition around the grid has been deteriorating for two years with the drain being blocked for as long or longer. the puddling and excess water on the road is being spashed onto my grade ii listed building and is casueing damage to my property for which cdc are now responsible. because the drain is not taking road water, water now runs down the hill and may be exacerbating flooding on new road (the elec sub staion has had to be lifted to keep it safe from flooding which is made worse by the blocked drain at the top of the hill). the pot hole and grid are close to the dropped kerb by the garage door to north bank. now requires urgent and immediate attention as it is causing property damage and is dangerous to road users.
