Graffiti on wall of bridge along a30

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 19:55, Saturday 14 February 2026

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8920377.

St Erth Roundabout, Hayle TR27 6JJ I have reported this to the police and they have just told me to report it to cornwall Council. But they just pass it on to Highways. This latest incident I believe pulls on the antisemetic trope that the Jews rule the world.

Graffiti has been placed numerous times at this location. the graffiti is about a particular issue every time and undergirds antisemitism It currently says in very very large letters "United Kingdom of Greater Israel". Are they insinuating that the UK is controlled by Israel or the Jews? Could this be antisemitic conspiracy theory? Previously it had allegations about "genocide". This is very offensive Graffiti constitues a crime and should be reported to the police by Highways Agency.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection.

Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and therefore can take longer to remove.

We'll arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they'll arrange a suitable solution.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
