Faded road markings on rural crossroad

Reported via mobile in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 10:47, Saturday 14 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8916984.

The white lines and SLOW markings on this crossroad have faded badly making it dangerous for drivers, cyclists, walkers and horse riders. We need the road markings repainted urgently as an accident happened just last week where the road users couldn’t tell whose right of way it was. In addition we could really use 2 x GIVE WAY signs putting up as I have witnessed cars driving straight across without slowing at the junction because it is unclear whose right of way it is. This crossroads has become an accident black spot because of the poor signage/road markings - accidents keep happening here so action is urgent.
