Council ref: ENQ261071811

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Cristina Gheorghiu at 12:52, Friday 13 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8911413.

The road from Heyford Park to Middleton Stoney was due to be repaired in 28 days from it has been reported, but tjere is no sign of anyone doing any work. There is a reference number for the initial report,Council ref: ENQ261071811,do you have an update? Also,as you already have been informed ,investigated, and decided that needs fixing in 28 days, and this hasn't yet happened, would you be decent enough to take responsability and pay for any claims which might be sent to you due to the state of the road?

  • Can we please have an update on this already 'investigated' issue, which was deemed for repair in 28 days since reporting, that should have been done on 13.02 or after.Today is 20.02 and therr is no sign that anyone even come to mark the surface for repair, and there is no sign the work being even started. Please reconsider your action and resurface this road adas,as you will be liable in court for not maintainig the roads as you supposed to. There is no way you will get any with no paying claims related to this,as this issues has bern logged several times, and you are very much aware of the state of the road.

  • Two potholes in Middleton Stoney direction

Posted by Oxfordshire County Council at 15:38, Monday 23 February 2026

  • Any updates as when this will be fixed? The initial investigation from January 2026 said that will be fixed in 28 days. That would have been mid February 2026.Now is mid March,no sign that any of the reports raised have been actioned, therefore,I am quering again, when will it be done??? Also, can the Council confirm that will be paying out any claims related to damages to cars due to the poor state of this road? I have alreafy scuffed my alloys trying to avoid the unavoidables potholes,I will make a claim once resolved.
