Dangerous Road

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 09:28, Friday 13 February 2026

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8909046.

Bulkington Avenue BN14 7JA/BN14 7HY Worthing is covered in HOLES (they are too big to be called pot holes) Previous pot hole repairs are now HOLES. It is in a dangerous state, cars are parked on both sides and rhere is nowhere to 'pull in' to avoid a hole if approaching oncoming traffic. When filled with rain water you cannot see how deep they are. The whole length of road from the junction of St. Thomas's Road/Lanfranc Road to the junction of South Farm Road needs to be stripped and a new surface laid. The condition of the road has been in a state of disrepair for years, and has been repeatedly reported. Will the Council pay for damage to tyres/ suspension, etc?
