On the footpath between Oak Avenue, Shirley and Bolderwood Way, West Wickham

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:24, Mon 5 September 2016

Sent to Croydon Borough Council 1 minute later

Someone has cut all the ivy from a longish private fence, bordering one side of the footpath and left it lying on the ground. There is enough to fill about six to eight green-waste bins, and now only about two feet of space to walk past it. Will the Council please consider cutting the overhanging trees, brambles and nettles that are now making this path hazardous? I would gladly go along there myself with secateurs and shears and make it safer, but I have no means of removing the clippings. (The person who cut down the ivy probably thought they were doing us all a favour, but the path is now more of a hazard than it was before.)
