Serious damage to grass verges.
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:49, Thursday 12 February 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8904506.
I have contacted Cherwell Council about the damage to grass verges and the non resident parking of vehicles in Buckingham Crescent. They replied they do nothing and provided your contact details. My first long view photo shows the state of the grass verge in front of my house. It looks unlikely to recover and ever be mown. I've noticed the tree planting on the Buckingham road by Domino pizza. Is it possible to have trees planted on the grass verges indicated as I believe it would solve the problem. Either that or remove the grass verges completely to create parking spaces. I imagine lines and parking enforcement would be difficult to implement.

Its now February 26th. This photo was taken this morning. The grass verges continue to be used as parking spaces, along with vehicles causing an obstruction on the road at varying times of day. The run down look of Buckingham crescent, now seems to be encouraging fly tipping as well. Please can something be done to deal with these problems.. This is the view outside my house every day.
