Tarmac has disintegrated to the side of a drain.

Reported via mobile in the Manhole category anonymously at 20:50, Wednesday 11 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8897785.

This pothole has been deteriorating over the past three months. The tarmac has disintegrated around the edge of the drain cover, which is left a sharp metal edge and loose gravel from the sub surface to be scattered over the pavement and in the gutter. During rain, this causes a deep, unseen pothole that causes cyclists (who are on my way to and from the school) issues. The loose gravel also appears to cause the numerous pedestrians (again on my way to and from school) challenges as a scattered across the footpath. The train is outside numbers 84 and 86.
