Severe road edge collapse on left-hand bend on Church Street, Naseby – approximately 30cm wide and estimated 5–10cm deep, concealed by standing water.

There is significant deterioration of the road edge on the nearside of the bend. The tarmac has broken away, creating a pronounced drop from the road surface into the verge. The defect extends approximately 20–40cm into the running lane and is partially concealed by standing water.

Due to its position on a bend on a narrow rural B road, vehicles following the natural line of the road are at risk of striking the defect. This presents a clear safety hazard.
