Grass verge badly damaged by cars
Reported via mobile in the Grass Verge Cutting category anonymously at 13:35, Wednesday 11 February 2026
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8893842.
The grass verge at the top of Reddons Rd, where it meets Lennard Rd, has been driven over by cars multiple times, killing off the grass and leaving it in a terrible, muddy state. See photos. Please could it be re-seeded, and maybe a higher kerb built to deter people picking up school kids from driving up onto it? (Sorry if this report is in the wrong category, there wasn't one for grass verge issues like this).

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
