Surface breaking up at verge

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 18:07, Tuesday 10 February 2026

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8887798.

The edge of the road is breaking up in two places on the right hand side of the lane heading from the track to High Noon Farm and the corner at the pond to the North. One of them fills with water and is concealed in wet weather and is a particular hazard but the other one is also getting larger and may soon be difficult for cars to avoid. Larger vehicles probably go into both on a regular basis.

Updates

  • PLEASE HELP! If this was Lincolnshire, then Lincolnshire County Council would now be providing prompt, comprehensive, and publicly-available updates to this report, right here on the FixMyStreet website, for everybody to see. Unfortunately, Norfolk County Council don't do that (and they even try to discourage people from actually using FixMyStreet)! Please SIGN THE PETITITION, to urge Norfolk County Council to start collaborating with FixMyStreet, in the same way as Lincolnshire County Council is doing!
