Housing estate sign in dangerous position

Reported via mobile in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 15:44, Tuesday 10 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8886566.

A yellow “Cross trees park” estate direction sign is in a dangerous position. Today my daughter caught the top of her head on the sign luckily not causing a serious injury. This could have been worse. The sign is clearly in a position which is too low and needs to be removed or repositioned as a matter of urgency before someone slices their head open.

  • The sign is very sharp and at a low level. Although this is not on a pavement I regularly walk along here with my daughter in order to cross the road as this is the only vantae point to cross due to the bend in the road. Either way the sign needs removing or placed higher
