Reported via mobile in the Drainage category anonymously at 09:58, Monday 9 February 2026
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8872416.
The edge of the road next to the kerb has deteriorated and formed a channel that directs rainwater along the building line instead of draining away. This is causing water to penetrate into the basement of the adjacent property during normal rainfall. The issue appears to be a highway surface/camber defect rather than private drainage. Please arrange an inspection by Highways as property damage is occurring.

This issue has now been ongoing for over one month and is causing water ingress into a residential basement property. The highway surface defect is directing rainwater along the building line, which is penetrating the property and causing damp conditions. As property damage is now occurring, we kindly request urgent inspection and action from the Highways team.
