Several cracked pavement slabs outside 29 Bedwell house residential flats SW9 6AG Brixton road.

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 18:49, Sunday 8 February 2026

Sent to Lambeth Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8869220.

I like to report several cracked pavement slabs outside number 29 Bedwell house residential flats on Brixton Road SW9. The cracked slabs have raised ends which could possibly prove fatal if someone has a mis-step over them. Please could they be repaired at your earliest convenience. It seems a heavy truck or dustbin lorry may have drove onto it thus causing the substantial damage. The pavements has been like this for over two months.

Updates

  • Unfortunately, its still has not been repaired. I passed it earlier today. I counted at least 19 cracked pavement slabs. Its looks probable that someone will have a accident in the near future.

  • The pavement slabs are still cracked. I reported it on 8th February explaining how hazardous it is for the public, especially at night. Please can this issue be addressed. It be very much appreciated.
