Japanese knotweed infection

Reported via iOS in the Trees category anonymously at 10:31, Mon 29 August 2016

Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 886343.

There is a very severe infection in these gardens which has been reported to THCH and to Tower Hamlets council on more than one occasion but nothing has been done. There are at least 5 enormous clumps of this plant growing and I have previously seen their gardeners trimming it and taking away the cuttings.

  • Not only has the problem not been fixed, the housing association has permitted its gardeners to cut all the knotweed bushes and dispose of the clippings as far as I am aware.
