Multiple potholes have appeared on an already very poor road surface
Reported via mobile in the Pothole large category anonymously at 17:49, Saturday 7 February 2026
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8862186.
Referring to the North bound carriageway of the A38.
This section of road has been steadily getting worse and worse ever since it was resurfaced several years ago. There are now several potholes in this 20m section of the A38.
It is the roughest section of the A38 I have encountered and is really major safety issue requiring cyclists to have to make evasive manueovres. At some point there will be a serious accident.
I know there are a lot of potholes being reported but this should really be at the top of the list.
