Cars driving to close to parked cars trying to avoid potholes

Reported via iOS in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:43, Saturday 7 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8861471.

My car has been hit repeatedly and I pay for the privilege! Although unlike Old Marston there are no bays to protect our pavements or vehicles? Furthermore, my children get soaked regularly by inconsiderate rat runners on their way to school. The road surface has gotten worse post works by Thames Water as it now regularly floods but never used to causing frost heave on the tarmac. Piecemeal pothole filling will not stop the road degrading is at least providing some traffic calming effects! This road is not up to standard for the amount of traffic that uses it especially trafficked on only one side of the carriageway. LTN needed!
