Two potholes in a row next to eachotherDriv

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:18, Saturday 7 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8860321.

Driving home at night West bound A40 junction offside into BP garage, i hit 2 potholes and burst my off side tyre. The largest potholes is at least 3 foot long 10" wide and several inches deep. Unavoidable as I was already driving at a safe speed [40 mph] as it was dark and raining. I am actually a police speed awareness trainer so very aware of the hazards of driving ar speed in those conditions. I am aware a neighbour hit the same 2 potholes a week before me so an issue for at least a week or more

Council ref: ENQ261081661
