Addington Road roadside litter

Reported via desktop in the Litter and Detritus category anonymously at 10:43, Saturday 7 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8859114.

The area on the roadside of Addington Road between Corkscrew Hill and the Borough’s boundary with Croydon Borough is a disgrace. The amount of litter (cans, bottles, plastic, food containers etc etc - you name it and it is there!) is mind boggling. Not worthy of a “Green Borough”. It needs very early attention and will require scores of bags to collect all of the rubbish. Why not deploy people who have been sentenced to Community Service to carry out the work if the Council have insufficient resources? Btw, the same issue continues in the same road and which comes under Croydon’s responsibility.
