Road drainage failed

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 17:34, Friday 6 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8856169.

For several months there have been drainage problems along Elms Road during heavy rain. There is muddy running water in the road which heads towards West Way, causing shallow flooding and further problems when it freezes. It appears the water is draining off a field at the end of the road (the water is always muddy) and has blocked the road drains. Elms Road has a primary school and doctors surgery on it.
