Drainage and flooding on pavement at cross over.

Reported via mobile in the Drainage category by Aleksandra Sadowska at 15:42, Friday 6 February 2026

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8855138.

Large areas of water forms here every time it rains due to a blocked or poorly leveled drain. It is a safety hazard as pedestrians are being heavily splashed by passing vehicles and forced to step into the road to avoid the water. This is also the entrance to a nursing home for the elderly and a playschool and you need cross to go to nearby bus stop Every time a car passes pedestrians are getting splash.

Please inspect the drainage and clear any blockages at this location. I have video evidence of the issue if needed.

This has become a very dangerous road with speeding cars a ignarent drivers. Highly recommend a zebra crossing or speed camera or speed bump.
