Junction at the top of Greenvale Drive

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 16:19, Thursday 5 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8847238.

The traffic calming measure put in place is a hazard and in contravention of the Highway Code 10-meter rule in relation to parking within 10 meters of a junction. The visibility is seriously reduced, especially when trying to pull out of Greenvale Drive, much the same as parking opposite a junction! It’s exactly the same at the junction with Newmans Lane and North Road. There needs to be some serious reconsideration to these measures. As a resident of Timsbury, I am very much in favour of the traffic calming measures, but these 2 examples show no thought and consideration for safety.
