Grass banking being badly damaged by HGVs

Reported via desktop anonymously at 14:56, Thursday 5 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8846511.

The left turn from the B471 onto Goring Heath Road is a very acute angle and HGVs inevitably damage the grass banking. the Hydrant box at this location has been badly damaged and was reported to Thames water at least 3 weeks ago with no response. This will always be problem, Goring Heath Road should be made "No left turn" when travelling south on the B471, particularly as there is a more suitable left turn approx 100Metres before this one.
