Subsidence around both drain covers, with what looks like possible future collapse

Reported via desktop in the Manhole Cover category anonymously at 10:18, Thursday using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 950580.

Drains are in the corner, next to the pavement outside 16 Carronhall. The hole and subsidence have been developing since last year, however, it would appear that autumn/winter has really exacerbated the issue

  • We have an update - we’ve completed our assessment of the defect logged with us and evaluated the risk it poses.

This risk level determines our target response time which are then are used to prioritise and programme work.

At this stage, other defects posing a higher risk are taking priority and we are not planning to carry out any repair work here at this time. The defect location has been recorded and will be assessed again during the next planned inspection for any further deterioration.

State changed to: No further action
