Very deep potholes need urgent repair so they don’t reappear. The potholes are dangerous for vehicle users as they’re deep and are right in the driving line.

Please repair the deep and dangerous potholes along this road before vehicles are damaged or someone is injured as these also pose a significant risk to all road users.

The council and Highways has a legal duty to repair and maintain road surfaces.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
