Blocked Grids Queens Drive causes Stream

Previously informed of Blocked Grids on this stretch of Highway running from The Green and alongside Broadgreen School. These blocked grids cause a stream to run along as the water can't drain, this ongoing stream of water is adding to potholes being subject to water penetration and adding to the issue of them caving in all the time. These grids and gullies need properly unblocking as per Section 41 and Section 100 of the Highways Act of 1980.

Must have woke the whole of this stretch of Queens Drive up at 7am Saturday 14th February. Trucks and men with shovels making horrendous noise going along kerb side, Was this to clear debris and blockages reported?. Except you're on the wrong side of the Carriageway, issues are kerbside on the left hand lane running from The Green towards Prescot Road. Thought they might actually come and inspect on this side but no, they're gone by about half 10 after waking us all up.

6th April another dry day and still blocked up 2 months later. Grids now also blocked up with grass that was just mowed at The Green and twigs and privets from last month's Street Scene workers just using a leaf blower instead of just taking everything they'd cut away with them. Lots of dried grass now along the kerbside in the already blocked road grids, just to add to the problem..

9th April. Looking at grid on the wrong side of the carriageway to the reported blocked grids above. Far right hand lane has never had the stream running down it and become riddled with Potholes. Tried to speak to these people as they went past our house to tell them exactly where the issues are, just rudely blanked us and wouldn't stop.

10th of June, no change, taken on a dry day, still blocked leaving left hand lane stream of water. Men came out couple of weeks ago, sprayed white paint marking gullies that have never shown an issue, the ones I've highlighted where the problems rest are just ignored and left blocked. These just cause the rainfall to back up running kerbside past our house. Left hand lane riddled with Potholes due to this constant water, absolute joke!
