Pothole reported as 8326896 remains

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8837429.

The pothole reported on Reading Road 30 yards from the bend was inspected on 27.11.25 and it was then reported that it needs fixing within 28 days. 68 days has now passed. Well over double. What are the plans to fix this ?

  • Still not fixed as of yesterday. I reported this some time ago and a poor quality repair was made. That repair has now failed because it was not sealed properly. This needs cutting out, cleaning and to be reapplied and sealed!

    Still not fixed, was unable to avoid as a car was coming the other day and it has damaged my wheel and tyre!

  • This was first logged on 22.10.25, which is by my calculations now 169 days ago. I have the evidence of this first report. Whoever reads this fixmystreet in Oxfordshire highways should be ashamed and questions should be asked of their processes as this is a main road and the pothole is growing and causing damage. They seem to have risk assessed it on 27.11.25. Nothing since.
