People park on meadows when they do not need to

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 12:56, Tue 23 August 2016

Sent to Oxford City Council 4 minutes later

I have reported this problem before as well. People park where they want - on the green grass on Windsor Crescent in Marston OX3 0SQ, destroying it in an uncaring manner. The council spends tax-payers' money to maintain it but it is constantly damaged by vehicles parked carelessly. I spoke to the council as well and hope some permanent solution will be found. Many of the cars and vans parked indefinitely on the grass are not local even. Please council, do something to stop the malpractice.

  • There are still vans parked on the beautiful meadow! I am attaching pictures of two such instances. One of them even has a long trailer with a car on it. Very damaging for the meadow. It is shocking because there is free space on the road for parking. The van with the trailer doesn't belong to a local resident. and could be easily parked on the road.
