  • The potholes here are now almost impassable without having to veer onto the opposite side of the road or damage your tyres. An accident waiting to happen. These potholes are a death trap.

    Eastbound towards Oxford.

  • The potholes are increasing in depth and width daily. The ones outside “Webbs” effect both sides of the one lane leaving you no option but to1. Swerve or 2. Drop into the hole. My daughter’s car is now damaged due to OCC poor maintenance; please be advised I will be invoicing you accordingly and making a formal complaint. This road is an accident waiting to happen, again and again and again……It’s very serious now OCC please take note and action. If you would like a photo let me know and if you could arrange to stop the constant traffic I will pop out and take one.

  • There are huge potholes on both sides of the road just to the Swindon side of Webbs. They are incredibly dangerous, especially to motorcyclists, and to those who are unaware of them. Even if you do see them - and despite their size they are not easy to see especially in the dark - the volume of traffic they makes them almost impossible to avoid before falling into them. The dirt and gravel from the potholes is all over the road so that it suddenly becomes like driving on stone chips at 50mph. The previous comments are no exaggeration: there will be a serious injury or death without prompt and proper action to repair them.
