There is a strip of tarmac across the road that has sunken leavings an edge where is has previously been cut.

Theirs is no change to the highway. The hole and poor surface are still there.

This strip across the road is gradually worsening, carful if on a bike.

This is now getting very dangerous and will cause a serious injury to a cyclist or motorcycle. Will damage car tyres too if not resolved.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - We have assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks.

This is now a danger to anyone on two wheels, yoy have to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid this when driving up the hill.

The Nortoft Trench is getting deeper and causing cars to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid the worst parts when travelling up hill. As it’s near the junction with Cold Ashby Road this is dangerous and could be a contributing factor in accidents. For cyclists it is a very dangerous road hazard that could easily cause an accident.

This part of the road is only getting worse as mentioned before. Waiting until November to rectify the issue is too long to wait. A serious accident will happen due to this delay.
