Road marking white lines or studs problem

Due to the Closures on the A40 London Road and Copt Elm Road the volume and size/weight to vehicles having to use Lyefield Road East, School Road (a One Way narrow lane) and Church Street is not right. We have had Vans, Lorries and Coaches try and use these roads and the narrow road of School Road they are having to use the pavement in areas. Now the corners are tight enough, but people are parking on them and then the drivers are having to knock on residents doors to try and find the owners to ask them to move their vehicles. This causes gridlock. I have been asking for double yellow lines on the corners of these roads for over two years now and I was told no. Please can this seriously be looked at as it is only getting worse and not better. I really believe the Double yellow lines will make a difference.
