Illegally parked cars

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 20:04, Fri 19 August 2016

Sent to Birmingham City Council less than a minute later

Drivers parking on the pavement and along this section of Bristol Road is a daily problem. There are often a dozen cars or more parked here, ignoring the 'no loading' markings and the double yellow lines. At times there is so little space left on the pavement that there would be no way for a wheelchair user or a parent with a child in a buggy to get past.

It is especially bad at the junction with Elliott Road, where drivers often park blocking the pedestrian crossing.

  • Still a problem with cars parked on the pavement and on double-yellow lines. I was going to report it myself, taking the attached photo for the purpose.
