Flooded road at the entrance to Hinton Farm, Wellow Road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 10:11, Sunday 1 February 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8812028.

Frequent flooding on Wellow Lane, Hinton Charterhouse at the entrance to Hinton Farm presents a serious hazard to traffic. When frozen over this standing water becomes an ice rink and is even more hazardous. This issue has been reported several times over the past few years and no action has been taken by the landowner from whose land the floodwater originates and B&NES Highways on whose land part of the floodwater remains for days at a time. Wellow residents ask B&NES to resolve this issue together with the landowner
